about our GUESTHOUSE

Andrews Inn & Garden Cottages

Andrew's Inn was formerly a single-family home built in the early 1900's. Our neighborhood in the physical center of Old Town used to be one of Key West's more affluent suburbs in the 1930's and was home to Ernest Hemingway who lived for many years right next door to Andrew's Inn.
In the early 1980's Andrew Cleveland purchased the property and hired a team of carpenters
who lived on-site and used it as an art studio while they worked on its restoration. Andrews Inn opened its doors as a bed and breakfast in the early 1990's. Although the traditional Key West guest house has had several different owners since then, all have carried on its special blend of intimate lodging and laid-back luxury. Andrew was well known for having the "happiest happy hour in town" and we continue on with that tradition as we strive to get to know our guests personally and welcome them into the Andrew's Inn family.
However idyllic the hotel, it's our people who make the greatest impression. Every person in the Andrew's Inn family, from the incredibly talented staff, the welcoming and caring owners to our wonderful guests, will make your visit a rich and truly exceptional experience.
